Sagarmatha National Park

सगरमाथा राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज तथा यसको अद्वितीय जैविक विविधताको संरक्षण, पर्यटन व्यवस्थापन तथा मध्यवर्ती क्षेत्रको एकिकृत संरक्षण, व्यवस्थापन र मध्यवर्ती क्षेत्रको सामाजिक विकास कार्यलाई विद्यमान क्षमता तथा उपलब्ध साधन र स्रोतको परिचालन मार्फत गर्न सगरमाथा राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज कार्यालयबाट आ.व.२०७४÷०७५ मा विभिन्न कार्यक्रमहरू संचालन भएका छन् ।

Sagarmatha National Park (SNP), established in 1976 is one of the pioneer protected areas of Nepal. The park was inscribed as world heritage property in 1979 because of its superlative and exceptional natural beauty, which is embedded in the vivid mountains, glaciers, deep valleys and majestic peaks including the world’s highest peak, Mt. Everest. The Gokyo and the associated wetlands, the wetlands of global significance, also lie within Park.
